I love the Old Testament.
I can't say as I understand it completely, but I love it.
And for the last few years I have been quite interested in the idea of the bibilical holidays. Some might say the Jewish holidays, and maybe they are, but as we have recognized some of them in our own family, even in our own distorted Gentile fashion, some of the stories that contain them have taken on new life to us, and for that we are grateful.
At first, I was going to make this a blog about biblical holidays, but then I realized that at some point, I might want to do more.
I am not an authority and I am not Jewish, so far as I know. I may only put our version of Passover in here and call it quits...it is really for my kids anyway, in case they ever want to do it...
